Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) Certified: Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production, formerly Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production is an organization whose stated aim is promoting safe, lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing around the world. It certifies factories according to twelve "Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production Principles".
SEDEX certified. SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is a social audit that assesses a site based on their organisation's standards of labour, health and safety, environment and business ethics. Sedex believes these are key areas for assessing an organisation's responsible business practices and meeting social compliance.
Oeko-Tex is a registered trade mark, representing the product labels and company certifications issued and other services provided by the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology. Most notably known for STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.
Organic cotton is grown and farmed without the use of pesticides, eliminating highly toxic substances from the environment. This has long-term benefits for both humanity and the planet, which is why it is often seen as more environmentally friendly compared to conventional cotton.
Print method used: Direct to Film
DTF printing in general is a very clean odourless process with only one general by-product being the film which is recycled. DTF printing has taken garment printing a number of large leaps forwards when compared against alternative print methods for sustainability and the environment. The low-impact inks are water-based, with no odour and no toxic chemicals. Once a film is produced it requires a very short 15-second heat press to apply it and then nothing else, ensuring a lower carbon footprint.
