Car parking

There is car parking available onsite each day. The Car park post code is CV3 6GF. Car parking can be bought online in advance to guarantee parking is available. Cars should not be left in the field overnight unless driving would present a risk to the safety of the driver and others. 


National Express Coventry provides frequent bus services to the War Memorial Park. The 9, 9A, 18A and 12X serve the Park from the city centre, Tile Hill and Warwick University. The 539 from Kenilworth and the 580 from Rugby also stops near the Park.

Stagecoach X18 stops at the War Memorial Park, travelling between Stratford, Leamington, Warwick and Coventry centre.

Free Cycle Parking  

Free cycle parking is available in the event bike park, located on the edge of the Family Field opposite the Visitors' Centre from Friday afternoon to Sunday.  You can park your own bike (bring a lock)  or a West Midlands Cycle Hire bike, which has a built in lock.

Sign up for the West Midlands Cycle Hire App and your first 30 minute ride is free.  

You can pick up a West Midlands Cycle Hire bike from docking stations around Coventry, including by the Railway Station and Pool Meadow Bus Station.  There are 12 docking stations within the Ring Road and 10 more outside, from Fargo Village in the east to Hearsall Common in the west, and from Coventry Canal Basin and Coundon in the north to Cheylesmore in the south.   

Please use the event bike park from noon on Friday 3 Sept until the end of Sunday 5 September. West Midlands Cycle Hire Staff will be on hand from 1 hour before the first performance until 30 minutes after the last one. 

New riders can get a Free Ride with West Midlands Cycle Hire. 


The park is a 15 minute walk from the city centre and 10 minutes from Coventry Railway Station.

Disabled facilities

We have disabled access viewing platforms, accessible toilets, Blue Badge parking and electric scooters and wheelchairs for hire on site. 

Baby changing facilities

The disabled WC units in the family field will have baby changing tables.
