A photograph of Senses

Senses fuse shoegaze, alternative, and indie rock into bold, genre-blending soundscapes. Formed during their school years in Coventry, the band—Brian, Rónán, Ian, and Kevin—built their identity on a shared love of underground music, a bond that continues to thrive as they continue to write music.

Their debut album Little Pictures Without Sound (42s Records) offered cinematic, emotionally charged songs interwoven with spoken word—an uplifting, introspective debut that won them a growing fanbase and acclaim on the UK live circuit.

In June 2025, senses reached a major milestone: their single Have You Ever Had a Broken Heart?, featuring a remix by Andy Bell (Ride, Oasis), climbed to #7 on the Official UK Vinyl Chart and #8 on the Official UK Physical Singles Chart. The limited-edition release marked the launch of their own label, Cedars Recording Company, named in tribute to their Coventry roots.

Their second album, all the heavens, arrives July 11 on streaming platforms, CD, and vinyl via Cedars Recording Company. The album was recorded with multi-platinum producer Gavin Monaghan (The Twang, Editors, Led Zeppelin) and Liam Radburn at Magic Garden Studios. Engineered by Joe Jackson and Louise Russell. Mastering by Graeme Lynch (Blossoms, The Lathums, The Coral). With this new release, senses push their sonic boundaries even further—embracing more experimental textures, expansive arrangements, and a deeply emotive palette that signals bold creative growth.

The band’s reach continues to grow, with features on four Apple Music editorial playlists, and a track placement in a BAFTA-winning TV show. They’ve also earned consistent support from respected tastemakers including Janice Long, Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy, and BBC Introducing.

Senses remain a band driven by connection, resilience, and fearless innovation—crafting heartfelt, immersive music that continues to evolve.
