Covid

Important information to know before arriving

We wanted to remind you all the advice around COVID regulations regarding entry to this year’s event, in particular the terms and conditions of entry.

We are encouraging all festival attendees to take Lateral Flow Tests (LFT) prior to attending the event. These are free and readily available across collection points in the city or to order online.

If you, or a member of your household, does test positive prior to the festival, you must not attend the festival. More details of what to do if you test positive can be found on the NHS website.

In addition, if you or a member of your household are also showing any symptoms, then you must not attend the festival and must take a PCR test. More details of what to do if you develop symptoms can be found on the NHS website.

If you cannot attend the festival as you are isolating, then your ticket will be cancelled, and you'll be able to claim a full refund. Details of how to claim that can be found on our refund page.

A number of measures have been put in place at the festival to reduce anxiety around attending and our obligation to minimise the risk of  transmission of the virus, including messaging and signage around social distancing in common areas and queuing and use of sanitisers across the festival site. For more on these, visit the linked web pages below.

For your information, there will be a pop-up vaccination clinic run by the NHS that will be available at the Festival on Saturday and Sunday between 12 noon and 6pm. This optional service can be used by anyone who is 16 and over and eligible for the vaccine but who have not yet had their first or second jabs for whatever reason.

Although wearing a face covering is not a condition of entry to the festival, we are advising people to wear one when using the toilets, queueing for food/drink and accessing the site. If you choose to wear a face covering elsewhere on the site, then that’s fine too.

As we all look forward to a great event and we can once again enjoy outdoor entertainment, we would ask you all to be mindful of not only yourself but your fellow festival attenders so we can all enjoy another wonderful Godiva Festival.
