Godiva Calling

Performing on: Saturday 1 August

Josh Hale was the winner of the Singer/Songwriter category of Godiva Calling.

Josh is a 21-year-old acoustic singer/songwriter from Allesley Village, Coventry. After graduating from the University of Warwick this year with a degree in Biomedical Science, Josh is taking the summer to pursue and enjoy his favourite hobby - music. Josh has been involved with music for many years, partaking in musical theatre performances with both YOG and Wing-it. At the age of 16, he composed an original song that warns teens about the dangers of unprotected sex. This song was adopted by the NHS and played at Godiva Festival 2015 - search the web for ‘You’d Rather Be Safe Than Sorry’. It’s always been a dream of Josh’s to play Godiva main stage as he’s been going since the age of 13, so he hopes not to disappoint!
