Lives & Times and Greenspace area

The Lives and Times area holds an assortment of historic groups, museums and societies who will be displaying their information showing the diverse history of Coventry and surrounding areas. The Greenspace area will feature local and national groups who showcase eco-friendly who wish to raise awareness and educate on environmental issues. Outside the marquee, local craftsmen will be demonstrating local crafts. 

In the Lives & Times area:

  • Coventry Art Guild - See displays of art produced by the Art Guild. 
  • City of Coventry Freemen's Guild - A stall with information about Freedom of the City and Guild membership and heritage.
  • Friends of the War Memorial Park - See the current projects being undertaken and plans for the future!
  • Coventry Irish Society - Displays from the society with awareness of their history project
  • Coventry and District Archaeological Society (CADAS) -  See the displays of finds from around Coventry. 
  • Coventry Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers
  • Coventry Watch Museum - See some small watch artifacts on display and find out about the museum.
  • Coventry Woodcarvers Association - Wood carving information and demonstrations.
  • Bridge View Light Railway Community Group
  • Adult Education

In the Greenspace area:

  • RSPB - Find out about local wildlife and learn about how to give nature a home in your garden.
  • Coventry Way Association - See information on local walks and footpaths in the area.
  • Rotary Club Coventry North - Information about the group and its activities.
  • Warwickshire Amphibian and Reptile Team - Information about the conservation of amphibians and reptiles.
  • Coventry Bee Keepers Association - Find out more about beekeeping and see an observation hive.
  • Coombe Abbey Woodturners - Meet the team and see demonstrations of their work.
  • Warwickshire Wildlife Trust - Meet the team and find out more about their work.
  • Warwickshire Bat Group - Find out about the conservation of bats and their habitats in Warwickshire.
