Disabled facilities

Viewing platform

There is a a disabled access viewing platform in front of the Main Stage. View the map.

Paths

There are tarmaced paths around the Family Field and the fairground is located on a hard surface car park. The Main Field and Family Field are on grass.

Parking

A space for parking is available for people with a disability. This area is opposite the Visitor Centre. View the map.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets near the parking area.

Electric scooters and manual wheelchairs

Event Mobility Charitable Trust will once again be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show. Electric scooters and manual wheelchairs are available to reserve on a first come first served basis.

Location

The event mobility unit will be situated near the Visitor Centre (corner of the family field). The disabled parking area will be adjacent.

Times of operation

  • Friday 7 July – 6pm to 10.30pm
  • Saturday 8 July – 12noon to 10.30pm
  • Sunday 9 July – 12noon to 7.00pm

Cost

A refundable deposit system will be in place which is £25 for electric scooters and £10 for a manual wheelchair.

How to reserve 

To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk.

You can also request a form on 01386 725 391 which will need to be completed in advance and returned by post. Forms can also be printed off directly from the Event Mobility Charity Trust website.

You cannot book directly over the phone as a booking form has to be filled in first. 

There are a limited amount of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs available on the day to hire subject to the refundable deposit and dependent on availability.
